2. Following military service in the R.C.A.F. (1943-1945), Bert joined his father in the retail lumber and home hardware business, assuming President upon his death in 1972. The business was sold in 1975. Bert worked in real estate sales until a heart attack forced early retirement in 1982. He is an elder in the Presbyterian Church, Finch, Ontario.; a member of the Finch Masonic Lodge and lodges in Ottawa; the Shrine-Tunis Temple, Ottawa and the Ottawa Shriners Club. Bethel was a bookkeeper with the South Nation River Conservation Authority. Bert and Bethel live at Crysler.
3. Debra Begg is head of the music library at the University of Ottawa. She lives in Ottawa.
4. Gregory Begg works for the library service centre of the Ottawa Board of Education. He lives in Crysler, Ontario. Links:
