 1.  Source of Information:  Douglas Britton, Cornwall, Ontario.

 2.  During the depression, Cliff worked at construction for three years in


 Timmons, Ontario. Cliff worked at a garage in Lancaster, Ontario. from 1940 to
 
 1947. He opened his own business in Monkland in 1948. Cliff operated the garage
 
 in Monkland until 1960, then built a new garage at the corner of Highways 138
 
 and 43 near Monkland. He remained at this location until his retirement in
 
 1979. Ruth Britton was a homemaker. Clifton and Ruth lived at Monkland, Ontario
 
 for most of their marriage.
